“My husband and I were finally able to take our youngest kids (18 & 21 years old) to see the D.C. area along with Gettysburg. The place is literally on the corner of 2 major roads in town. “It is a simple and beautiful set up on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed saying hello to the goats each time we arrived and everything was very smooth. “From an architectural standpoint, it was neat to stay in this old home. It was very well maintained and the floors and walls were well maintained. Unfortunately, the one carpeted room (a sun porch) had a very funky smell and the bedroom throw rugs were very dusty. This is easily fixed. The sitting furniture was not very comfortable.
