“Our overnight stay with our small dog at the Galloping Getaway was such a pleasant surprise. Having just completed a long day's drive, the beauty and quiet of the property was so refreshing. We found the apartment pristine in appearance, with many thoughtful items added to make us feel right at home. Even though the apartment was located below the owner's residence, it was very quiet and the furnishings including the bed, were very comfortable. Tammie was very helpful in communicating with us……

It had air conditioning and wifi which were important for our family. Top of the line washer and dryer available as needed and 2 different outdoor seating options outside for eating as a family as well. Communication with owner excellent. ”

“A great little restaurant is within walking distance, and there are lots of little shops nearby. The photos don't do the place justice. It is lovely. It is close to Wilson College and churches. I would definitely stay there again. It was quiet, and I appreciated that they had a hair dryer and an iron, which I forgot. ”

“You really feel like you’re in the country. It’s a beautiful area that we felt safe and away from the hustle of the city. Yet we were close enough to places like grocery stores and pharmacies. The hosts provided valuable information about the area, and we felt very welcomed by the amenities.
