“My wife and I, and our Rough Coated Collie, completely enjoyed this great house! The house is well equipped, clean, comfortable, and secluded and met our needs very well. The large fenced backyard was a great feature for our Collie to play in. This was our third visit to this house and are looking forward to another stay. “I have stayed at this property many times over the years. It never disappoints me with the solitude and peace. The owner’s attention to detail in their home is very apparent. The beds and linens are good quality and the kitchen has ample supplies for making those memorable vacation meals. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 star on cleaning is because, there were some small issues that I couldn’t overlook. “This was a much needed solo vacation from the stresses of life. All yo be one with nature. The cabin and area fit the requirements perfectly. Me being me (causing issues/having ?’s) spoke/messaged the owner multiple times. He was a nice, easy-going kind of guy who was eager to help. I could see staying there again. ”

“Our stay was great. Visited the pretty place chapel for aun raise for one of my sons that passed in December 07,2024 but we only had buried him 2 weeks prior and it was his 21st birthday. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy sharing memories of Jacob.. ”

“It is a good place to get away from it all. Furniture somewhat vintage, but overall a good place for people trying to escape from the city. Make sure you have entry instructions before you drive up there because there is no cell service internet available. There is internet by WiFi once you do check in.”

“Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We loved sitting on the porch swing, looking out at the the majestic mountains, and watching the white squirrels, rabbits, and birds in their natural habitat. Nothing but nature all around us. My husband is an avid mountain biker so he loved the close proximity to Dupont State Forrest! He also drove the 40 minutes to Ride Rock Creek. This cabin was the perfect location for all that we did! My one and only suggestion would……

“This property had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was impressively stocked with a wide assortment of dishes and appliances. The instructions left in the cabin we super helpful when it came to navigating the hot tub and for checkout. We felt secluded and safe. It was everything we had hoped for in a perfect mountain getaway. ”

“It’s a beautiful location, if you don’t mind lots of curvy roads to get there! The porch is amazing with the Mountain View. I loved having the big tables inside and outside that accommodated our whole group in one spot for eating and playing games.”
