“We throughly enjoyed our stay & Vana was an excellent host providing hiking and birding locations to explore. It is not often a cottage in the woods is so close to town that we were able to walk to restaurants and the Tryon Arts Center to see a show. We plan to be back. ”

“ It was comfortable and felt very homey. It is an older house however the property was in great condition and it had all the needed items for a weekend Stay. Plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathroom. Nice yard that's fenced along with a great back porch thats screened in so very pleasant to sit outside.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here, we love the area and would stay here again. Cottage is clean and has everything you need. It's a cozy spot, nice fireplace. Only things I'd say could be better: the coffee pot is small and some spots in the floors will snag your socks, not deal breakers though. ”

“Property nice clean access, neighbors nice clean surroundings and quiet. Walked to game at Fluor field within literally minutes, awesome game and venue. Walked to downtown and falls at reedy park which was also amazing. If you didn’t absolutely want to, once you arrive you would never HAVE to drive anywhere between walking proximity and the trolley system. Awesome stay we will be back and we will try and stay in same rental ”

“This cabin was exactly as depicted, extremely well suited and stocked for a weekend getaway. The host has taken care to leave pretty much anything you would need for a weekend stay, short of groceries. I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to any couple or small group. 5 stars isn’t enough. ”

“Home is set on a beautifully landscaped property, very secluded at the same time the accessibility to grocery stores and the Smokies, and several state parks one being Dupont state park. The home is very comfortable, beds are not real firm however I tend to like a super firm bed. I slept very well regardless. The home is quaint and very clean. “This is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, well kept, fully equipped and appointed, comfortable beds, and close to downtown Tryon with all its restaurants, galleries, shops, and amenities. For horse people it is an easy drive to FENCE, the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and Harmon Field. We have stayed in rentals from Maine to Florida, from the beaches to the mountains and this is one of the very best. Don't miss it!!”
