“Tolle Unterkunft mitten im Regenwald. Zimmer ist 1/2 einer Hütte mit Terasse. Großes Bett, kein Kühlschrank. Schöne Parkanlage, nettes Personal. Gute Frühstück im Restaurant wo man auch abends gut essen kann. Zufahrt über eine enge Privatstraße, die keinen Gegenverkehr erlaubt und deshalb per Funk geregelt wird. Angebote wie Führungen, ZIP-Line und Seilbahn sind direkt vor Ort. Seilbahnfahrt ist schön, aber sehr teuer. Wir würden wieder kommen.”

Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. ”

“Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte. Das Personal wirkte unmotiviert, unfreudlich u. wenig hilfsbereit. Beim Einchecken bekommt man direkt eine Liste mit Aktivitäten, gezeigt u. natürlich die……

“Very nice property with stunning flora and fauna. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast - fresh fruits, eggs, housemade toast and jam, rice and beans as well as a fresh coconut - was delicious, especially the coffee. I only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning, wish I had more time here but plan to be back next time. ”

“This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. The purpose of my trip was birding, so please be advised that I speak from this perspective, and fancy accommodations and other excursions were not important to me during this stay. “The setting is lovely with beautiful trails and riverside-views. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, setting up tours and answering questions. The food was top notch with great plant-forward options. The riverside room had AC which was an added perk. Although the room itself was fairly basic, it was very clean and met our needs to be able to enjoy the surroundings. ”
