“The owner and staff are exceedingly gracious, we felt quite welcome. Our room is warmly decorated and comfortable from the bed to the linens to the rain shower and tiled bath. “Beautiful resort, outdated but clean. We went on the weekend before ownership changed so the menu was limited and the breakfast was undercooked but the server was AWESOME! He remembered us and catered to us like we were the only customers.”

“This B&B was centrally located, clean,safe and quiet. However, even though I knew there would be no breakfast, I thought that like most B&B’s there would be the possibility of coffee or tea in the morning. There was no one home to welcome us or give information about nearby restaurants, etc. Why take the reservation if you can’t provide the amenities most B&B’s feature?”

“We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2……
