“Wonderful hosts, beautiful area, linens and cooking utensils provided, as well as a few tea bags and coffee sachets for a cuppa and a sit down when you arrive! easy self check in with amenable hosts. 10/15 min walk to the local high street, and ample parking space. a great self catering stay - does the job, i would happily recommend and stay again. thank you!”

“I don’t usually leave property reviews, and I tend to avoid places without a host check-in due to past bad experiences. However, I must say the check-in process was the easiest I’ve come across, clear instructions and codes made it seamless. The room was a delight and had everything I needed. “Lovely apartment in great location next to city centre. The owner had an issue with previous guests who trashed the apartment, however when we arrived the apartment was clean and in great condition. Only issue was a slight dampness to couch due to him having to clean because of previous users. This would not put me off using this apartment again, thank you for the use of your apartment”

“We have stayed here several times in the past, and, whenever we are planning on visiting the family in Saffron Walden, we always look for to see if this property is available. Highly recommended, except for people with mobility issues, for whom the tight, winding staircase to the upstairs bedrooms would be an issue. Apart from that, highly recommended.”

“Great accommodation in a great location ”

“Massive pigeon infestation, cant leave the window open because they will fly in. The hot water finished after 10 minutes in the morning, so no shower in the morning, only one person. You need to climb 50 stairs to reach the apartment, the elevator is broken. Only a 1/2 roll used toliet paper, no rug to step out of the shower, used a towel instead. ”

“An outstanding property, I couldn’t fault this place. Very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The host was very professional at check in. Very secure for parking. I will definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Shops only 5 minutes walk. A true home from home feel from start to finish”

“Just the perfect stay for our family! We loved the patio for the kids to play in and had a wonderful stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There's a great pub next door that serves Italian food and has a great yard and play structure for the kids. We also visited the Audley End House and Audley Miniature Railway and Fairy Walk while we were there and it was a perfect combination for a little getaway. We would definitely come back! ”

Good for value

"Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. "
