“Sandra was in touch to remind and provide helpful information days in advance of our trip. The old mansion is gorgeous, with stately old, tall and gnarly silver maples flanking the beautiful entrance. Lots of rocking chairs our front. We lucked out, too, as weather was beautiful. It was a great pleasure to meet Sandra. She took such good care of us. Her breakfasts were first rate, and she had suggestions for about any kind of entertainment in the area. “Terrific stay at The Gin Hotel! Located in Lexington, VA, the hotel is close to both Washington & Lee and the Virginia Military Institute. The property is very charming with a lot of character. “The hotelnwas clean and the stagg waa friendly. The room was clean and the room was comfortable. They had an issue with a sprinkler earlier and the water damage closed the breakfast, but we offered to go to a sister hotel, Country ainn & Suites. We chose not to do.that, but other than that it was a great stay. We would go back! ”
