“The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect :) had everything you needed. There was also a closeline out the back door for drying clothes that was really handy (And hammock hooks in the room which was cool). The yard is beautiful and has tons of greenery, birds and gheckos. Frida Kahlo the cat that lives there is very friendly and cute. :) The door also had multiple lock options and felt very safe, and the property was only a 10 minute walk from the city center. ”

“The property was rented out to another family by the owner but I got charged anyways and no one told me until I got there, no wonder directions weren’t accurate , called several given numbers and even called the owner number and won’t answer, turn phone off. I don’t recommend this scammer!”

“The location was very good - just a few blocks from the Historical City square. The rooms were very clean- each of our three rooms had towels and its own bathroom. It took some getting used to, but we finally figured out how to get hot water. :-). We had one issue with the door locks, but Javier was quick to get to the house and temporarily fix it until the next morning (when it was fully fixed. No complaints on the speed and quality of response from Javier.Location excellent. Service……

“This is not a super high-end property, or one that I would recommend if you anticipate a ton of downtime at home. If you plan to be out for meals and to visit nearby sites, this works perfectly for a home base and place to crash. The neighborhood is great, the main plaza is in walking distance, as are a bunch of shops and restaurants. I’d recommend it for the location alone.”

“The street that this property is on isn't the best, but it is only a couple of blocks from the main town square and from a lot of the local shopping. The unit was clean and everything worked great. ”

“Casa Saramuyo was an amazing place to stay. It was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Simple instructions but I’m sure the hosts were entertained with us trying to unlock the door the first time (when in doubt, start with the top lock and keep turning left). We thought the bed and pillows were very comfortable, but we also prefer firm mattresses. The hosts were very accommodating and responded very quickly to all messages. Would highly recommend.”
