“Easy check-in process and good communication. Comfortable home which was updated and suited most of our needs. Great location. First evening was very warm in the bedrooms area. It got to 85 degrees outside. The portable AC unit in the living/kitchen area kept that area cool enough for sure, but did not really cool off the sleeping areas even with the doors open and turning it on upon arrival and keeping it on through the night. It would be great to have a secondary unit in the bedrooms for……

“Was an excellent peaceful location. Located in a cute little town. Was wonderful to wake up right next to the lake. Many windows to see the wonderful outdoors. Is close enough to everything, if wanting to head up to Michigan or other norther parts of Wisconsin. Will definitely be staying again. ”

“The cottage is perfectly located on Chicaugon Lake. It was very, very clean when we arrived and the kitchen is great to cook in. The deck was wonderful. The host was very pleasant and tried to accommodate our needs. That being said, the front door does not latch. You don’t need a code, you just push in the door. The queen mattress and the two twin mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. They are soft and worn out. Military showers are recommended because if you don’t, you may run out of hot……

“Another fantastic week at the Homestead in the Beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We spent the week fishing, boating, playing games, eating and drinking til our hearts were content! “This was our second stay at this house. Once again the house was clean and comfortable. I’d also like to note that the last time we stayed here the steps to the fire pit were not very stable. This issue has been addressed and the stairs were MUCH more stable.”

“Cozy place. Hyper clean. Location couldn’t be better for town access. Our host made everything easy to navigate. House rules were simple an, made for an easy stay. We stay up here several times a year for all activities. Usually with friends. Sometimes it’s just nice to have your own space. The Lighthouse is perfect for that. We’ll definitely stay here again. Looking forward to the upstairs project so, we can bring our whole clan!”
