“No name outside or anywhere. It took me two hours in the rain and dark, with my big suitcase, to find it and none of the local people or my taxi driver had heard of it. Only when a local Albanian girl phoned the owner was she guided, and I followed her, down a dark hidden alley to a room on the ground floor, with 4 unmade bunk beds, no concealing curtains and a pile of what looked like used sheets on a couch. It was now very late. I felt unsafe so left to book in to a nearby hotel.”
