“Stanza fantastica, con una vista sul mare pazzesca. La posizione della struttura è ideale, in una stradina residenziale (in salita) a nemmeno 10 minuti a piedi dal lungomare. Molto silenzioso. Un po’ scomoda la doccia a pavimento, ma nel complesso ottima camera. “This is a modest Guest House in Durres, which is a small beach town one hour west of Tirana and the airport TIA. The owners are a retired couple who live downstairs the property. There is a language problem for the couple but their daughter comes to the rescue. They are all very friendly and helpful. Of course, there is no daily housecleaning service as in a hotel but they ask you if you need anything. The area is safe with a few restaurants and mainly luxury hotels. The beach is only……

“Would not recommend staying here unless you are ready to be awoken at all hours to include the cleaner speaking on her phone (while cooking) with all doors open EVERY morning. No cleaning occurred in the week I stayed there by the way and the bathroom had trash overflowing the bin and lots of mold on the curtain). The only time it seems the management is proactive is when they text you to ensure you check out on time.”

“We loved it so much we decided to stay a second night. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great hospitality and it is a family owned and run guesthouse. The grandmothers made an amazing breakfast that consists of tea, coffee, fried eggs, delicious bread, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, cheese, butter, and fig jam. Location was good, a lovely walk to the castle. I could see myself spending a week here. ”
