“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. My father stayed on the first floor next to the bathroom and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. The house is very clean and full of charming touches that appealed to everyone. “This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out……

“From the front door to the back door. We absolutely loved this Cozy Cottage. The beautiful trees the fireplace. I can’t forget the hottub. This place is well maintained and beautiful. “Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! ”

“The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!”
