“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. “This was my first time at this location. Breakfast was good and staff did there best to keep breakfast area clean and stocked. I didnt like paying extra to park on property. Walls seemed thin, as I could hear my neighbors conversation. ”

“What a great little dog friendly place! Pete, host, was so awesome and so helpful. I let them know ahead of time that I was bringing my dog and they had dog blanket, bowl and treat waiting in the room, we even had our own little private patio. I love that they also have a kitchen and dining area. There's also Roadhouse Coffee a short walk from your room. I do wish highway 1 was walk friendly to get to restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay.”

“The location on Tamales Bay is quite scenic, the rooms are clean and spacious, if a bit dated, and the beds were comfy. We were disappointed to learn that the restaurant was not only closed but had been closed since COVID. Having to drive some distance to eateries was somewhat offset by some quite good food options. Not everything in the room was operational, the gas heater did warm the room but its fan was not working so it took a little longer. The ice cream that we put in the freezer……
