“Приятный отель в уединенном природном малонаселенном месте на берегу океана. Относительно комфортные бунгало на побережье. Красивое побережье с песочным пляжем. Недалеко кораллы и рыбы. Организуют неплохой завтрак и ужин. Очень дружелюбные и готовые помочь хозяева. Из минусов. Оочень слабый wi-fi (сайты не открываются или очень медленно), самый дохлый из тех отелей Тонги, где я был. Мобильный интернет тоже почти не работает. Хотя сам отель достаточно дорогой среди отелей Тонги.”

“The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay. The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm. Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony). Will……

“Mandala Resort was everything my husband and I were looking for and more. This is a very high end spa resort without the high end price. The gourmet meals were beautifully prepared and presented from fresh, healthy ingredients. Lisa's homemade breads and breakfast smoothies were a treat every day. The treehouse room was wonderful! “The Matafouna Lodge is amazing. The location is beautiful. The fales were comfortable with a porch, comfortable bed, and glass windows. The shower facility was convenient and very nice with ceramic tiles and privacy (and most importantly, hot water). The staff were friendly. The food was very good (the seafood pizza was delicious). The diving was awesome but the snorkeling was almost as amazing. We spent most of our holiday in the water! Ollie, the fluffy guardian of the resort, is a sweet……

“This was a last minute booking made when our preferred booking was cancelled, after being confirmed more than three months earlier, apparently due to overbooking??? On arrival, the toilet was broken and dirty. The room wasn't secure as a window locking mechanism was broken. And, for most of our stay the internet wasn't available. “We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown.
