“Lovely clean house, superbly kitted out. Great location whether travelling into or out of town. Great well-equipped kitchen. Outdoor relaxation area including the spa was excellent. Very comfortable beds. Communication with host was easy. Would highly recommend. ”

Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. “Great property that was exactly as presented on-line. Clean, warm, well appointed and it was great to have things like tea and coffee and cooking oil. Loved it”

“After an initial mix up with the lock box, we entered a beautiful yet simple home which was perfect for our family of four. The kids had a bedroom each, ours was down the other end of the house with an ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed you to be part of the main house goings-on due to it's location. We really loved staying at Ruru. During the 3 minute walk to the beach, we made friends with some local horses who loved a good scratch on the neck. These became quite a highlight……

“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. ”
