“This place is a little gem! It's small and rustic but immaculate and Isobel has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) “This property is extremely spacious, it has 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and would easily accomodate a large family.Everything you could need was provided and to top it off there were gifts left for us of wine, chocolates, ice cream and a bottle of milk.Lovely touches and great communication with both the housekeeper and the owner when necessary.Just a short lochside walk into the small town where there are a few pubs and eating places.All in all we feel this property is very good value for……

“The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge.
