“We have become huge fans of West Seattle after this trip! Your home had the essentials and we slept well. There are a few items we’d love to provide feedback on, with the full understanding of the rustic accommodations:- Lighting in the bathroom was severely lacking. We are not high maintenance as far as our getting ready routines but we were unable to see ourselves in the mirror! -We love a clawfoot tub but the shower liner did not provide closure when taking a shower. “We had such a nice time at Olga’s property and she was such a friendly and communicative host. Parked Saturday and didn’t leave until check out Monday. The cabin(s) had everything you needed, all you need to bring is yourself and some groceries. And I got to row a boat for the first time!! The only thing I would suggest ahead of booking is taking the mobility of you and your guests into account as there are quite a bit of stairs involved. Both my friend and myself would definitely be happy to……

“Beautiful private cabin right on the beach. Harbor porpoises, birds, seals all visible from the deck. Sweet classic cabin with everything you need. Would be a small challenge for someone with mobility issues as the trail down is steep but the cabin is worth it.”

“The owners have done a truly lovely job with this location. I was here with two other friends for a writing retreat, and we all were enchanted. Comfortable rooms and beds, thoughtful choices around every corner. And the location really makes you feel like you are in your own corner of the rainforest. Our only regret is going during the summer burn ban - we are all considering returning in a cooler month to take advantage of the magical firepit. ”

“This is a lovely hilltop spot with a great view of the water. The skyscape makes it all worth it. The place is a tiny home, so be prepared. It's not necessarily for those needing to move around in the shower or bathroom. The beds are really comfy, and the loft is nice. Plenty of headroom. The only trick is getting down the ladder :). The hosts were gracious and communicative. Appreciate the coffee available as well. A must stay, if you don't mind tiny.”

“Great place to relax and enjoy the lake. Very clean, lots of amenities. As many others have mentioned the furniture padding and mattress on the bed really need to be replaced as the furniture and bed are not very comfortable. Hopefully they will listen to their guests and make some improvements. ”

“Excellent beds! Great kitchen, and we loved the layout of the kitchen-dining-living area. We appreciated both the excellent drip coffeemaker and the pod coffeemaker (and the fact that there were coffee beans AND pods already there). Beautiful lighting indoors and outdoors. Two very minor issues: (1) The driveway is somewhat steep, and the gravel kept shifting a bit—we really had to hit the gas and didn’t have the kind of control in our rental car that we felt we needed. (2) Having to go……
