“Loved this property. Felt historic with a renovation. This was a welcoming lovely place to stay. No issues with noise but didn’t stay the weekend. No elevator but it was only an issue to get our suitcases up to our rooms . The staff helped! Thank you Tatlers Jack”

“Wonderful place with room having character and appeal. Owner Liz went out of her way to help, give directions and share some of her stories. Traffic along the road outside might be a concern for light sleepers and need for open windows to keep cool at night increases that risk. Lovely place perfect for our needs! ”

“Our hostess was wonderful. It’s been a month and can’t remember her name for the life of me. But it was such a great experience. ”

Our original plans for another B&B were cancelled by mistake and we were stuck without a place to stay shortly before dinner. When we did some research we discovered The Tides. “The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. ”

“Lovely family run B&B about 10m ns from the town centre. Friendly service and great breakfast! Easy parking and access to airport.”

“Hosts were very personable and approachable. Breakfast offerings were first rate. Although situated on a main thoroughfare, the bnb was quiet and very clean. Could use a few more towels in the room and mysteriously (for the hosts and the guests), water supply was shut off without warning at 8 a.m. and lasted for several hours. Fortunately, we were headed out for the day. ”
