“The host did not send check-in instructions until 640pm after VRBO staff and myself tried to contact her, as check in is at 5pm. After arriving at the property, we looked inside the window and it had not been cleaned at 6:15pm (beds unmade). We scrambled to find another place quickly due to it being late in the day.The host only did a partial refund and VRBO would not help. I had three “chats”, and two phone calls with customer service with no resolution. I had to call my bank for escalation of……

“Lovely property. Very clean. Excellent communication with property manager. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen, well designed floor plan. Plenty of spaces to be together both inside the home main level living area, walkout level recreation room, outdoor deck, covered patio, dockside & fire pit. Enjoyed our stay. “We found this location a great choice as a relaxing weekend for our group of college friends and their spouses. The only minor criticisms were that we did not locate the indoor pool mentioned in the description and there was no propane for the grill. A phone number I had previously been given to report problems by our POC turned out to be for emergencies only. “We spent Easter weekend at Blue Haven to spend the holiday with family in Treasure Lake. The house was clean, new, and perfectly set up for our family. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and the kitchen was great to prep food we brought for Easter dinner. The decor, furniture, and all the amenities were awesome. Our chocolate lab loved the house also! Perfect weather and great walks also! We will be back!!!”

“I rented the house to have a place to stay while visiting family from Virginia. The home was comfy and large enough to host my family of 8 and entertain extended family for a Thanksmas celebration. I didn’t find a shovel or salt which would have been helpful since it showed. I was also told it had 2 slow cookers, and couldn’t find either. Besides that, our experience was very pleasant and we would rent this home again. ”
