“Our family of seven stayed at Deerpath Lodge for nine days. The property is well cared for and clean. The owners give guidance on how to care for their place so it stays in a well kept condition and also have informative signs to indicate where things are kept. “Our group of five Seniors had a wonderful time. We rented both the cabin and the bunkhouse, so that we would have more space. The deck is a great area to socialize, dine, and enjoy the views. We sat on the dock and watched an Eagle “go fishing” for its breakfast. There are basic model kayaks and a canoe. We enjoyed the short drive to nearby hiking trails and Hayward. “We loved the location and friendliness of the owners. We were hoping to squeeze in a little fishing, but the boat and dock were already out for the season. We had a great time with 4 wheeling but had to wash everything we used in the kitchen due to excessive mouse droppings. Bathroom too, and shower ceiling was quite moldy. The basement property is a work in progress and has tremendous potential. Sunrise is beautiful, setting is relaxing, their animals are friendly, location is great for summer……
