“My family of 4 had such a great time in this home in Southwest Harbor. I am so thankful for this peaceful retreat away from the crowds and stress of Bar Harbor. The house was lovely, quiet, and cozy. It was so clean and well-constructed. We have stayed in rental properties about twice a year for the last 12 years, and this one was my favorite. “This property was the perfect location for our vacation. It was outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor (about 10 minute drive) but close enough to enjoy Acadia N.P. and Bar Harbor. The apartment was clean, the amenities were perfect. We were greeted with fresh blueberry muffins that were delicious! Eve was great, she let us enjoy our vacation, without hovering. We had a nice chat the morning we left and had the chance to enjoy a few minutes with Gingersnap, her Bernese mountain dog. I would……

“This is a cozy quaint apartment in a quiet neighborhood, an ideal stay for two at a very convenient location for travelers visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The apartment is very tastefully decorated in a retro style and has all the basic utilities and nice balcony/patio for relaxation. Cleanliness is A. A quick walking distance from downtown bar harbor, restaurants, grocery and also super short drive from Acadia National Park. Much recommended stay!”

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……

“Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. ”

“We had a great stay. The place was VERY clean, quiet and certainly peaceful. Everything you could possibly need for our trip was provided (Coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.). It's convenient to both shopping (5 mins.) and local attractions including Acadia (30 mins.). 5 stars!”
