“My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The cabin was cozy, inviting and had all the accommodations we needed. The setting: perfect! Right on the tidal river and seemingly in the middle of nowhere—but super close to anything we needed in Ellsworth. Centrally located for easy trips to MDI, Schoodic and Deer Isles/Stonington.Cannot recommend highly enough. “The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.”

“We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, the decor was nice. Sara gave us tips on places to eat and visit, which were helpful. “We had a wonderful stay at the Poet's cabin. It is a nice little place for visiting the Acadia National Park area. It also has a very good sitting area outside and the hosts are very helpful and welcoming! The only issue is that the door opening to the bathroom is very low (I'm 6'2 and hit my head multiple times on the top of the door frame), and the shower is very small. The home is exactly as advertised and a great place to stay, but wanted any other "taller" people to be aware before booking.”

“What a wonderful stay! The cabins are new, well thought out, and equipped with everything you need including laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Sitting out on the screened porch in the comfy cushioned chairs was a favorite after our day’s activities. Very quiet and serene away from all the touristy stuff. Highly recommend staying here!”

“We were fortunate to be able to stay at The Nub again this year, and it remains our favorite place to stay. Spending days hiking the mountains of Acadia and returning to The Nub at night is incredibly restorative. Angela is a great host, receptive to all of our needs, even those we didn't know we had! We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. “The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed.”

“Great experience. It was cozy environment. The only downside is there was some remienence of trash in the trashcan itself. Also, the toilet had very low water pressure and would not go down when being flushed (don't know if it was clogged beforehand or what, but we didn't do it). Other than that i would stay again. ”
