“The location was perfect; the staff was accommodating and friendly and there were so many wonderful places to visit both on the island and nearby. Especially loved being able to enjoy the heated saltwater pool in the middle of September! If you go, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are a must. The Inn actually had some smaller gardens that attracted butterflies and hummingbirds. Can't wait to return.”

The only regret was that the room was booked the day before, and the price was doubled compared to booking in advance. “Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely little dining room for breakfast and enjoyed live music Tues evening with the best dinner on our trip. The burrata squash salad with crostini along with the best tika masala we’ve ever had were definite highlights. The property felt very family friendly and we enjoyed seeing lots of dog owners out and about. It was nice to be away from the tourism downtown yet close enough to take advantage of it and the Maine Coast……
