“This was a wonderful, peaceful stay … our second stay here. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, patio area and watched the beautiful sunset. Loved the bottle of wine … nice touch. The only negative was the microwave. A previous guest exploded something in it and didn’t clean it up, Steve’s cleaning crew missed it and I ended up cleaning it. Other than that, we’ll probably stay here again. ”

“The room was spacious and cozy. The place has great character. The updates done by Monica and Pat were done in great taste and without losing the integrity of the house. The floors were gorgeous and all rooms were lovely. The owners are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will tell others. We highly recommend. ”

“Our stay was great! A very simple and easy check-in and check-out process.The view was wonderful and the cleanliness was on par. “The property is Gorgeous with green rolling hills, a pond with geese and baby geese on the way, deer, beaver and lots of other wildlife! Everything was so close to Charlottesville…Carter’s Mountain, Restaurants, Wineries and a Wonderful treasure down the road at Simeon’s! We loved having picnics on the grounds watching the sunset! Steve was A Great host! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! ”
