“The perfect river cottage for three couples. Super clean with all of the needed amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fire pit, pavilion area, ping pong table and the flat river frontage. “The home is absolutely stunning! Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, too. There were so many little touches that made this home the perfect we can get away for a bride to be and her bride tribe to relax and unwind.Unfortunately, the weather was too cold and too windy for us to enjoy the fire pit area, but the theater room and gathering spaces were plenty large enough for our group of seven ladies.”

“We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

“Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. While it was cold and snowy outside we were able to relax in a spacious home and also partake of the hot tub. Large fenced backyard was great for the pup while in the summer it would combine great with the pool and outdoor amenities!”

“Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia.”

“We spent a night on our way down the east coast. Such a great place to stop to allow space for our dog to stretch after a long day of driving.
