“Very comfy after a day out on the ice”

“Great location just steps to the water, beautiful cabin, and fishing was abundant. We enjoyed the scenic bike trails and paddled the picturesque Manitowish River. We hope to come back next year!”

“This was a great spot for our family of four with two teens. They loved the double queen bunks, basketball hoop, and swimming. The adults loved the large deck for coffee and hanging out and the large dock for swimming, cocktails, and sunsets. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds for all. We fished, swam, kayaked, and played a lot of games. It was a great week to disconnect. (But great WiFi if needed!) We will be back!”

“We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings. It was great to be able to be picked up at our dock by boat from the other family members who were also staying in the lake. I would advise that if you……

“We very much enjoyed our stay. This was a return stay since we stayed here last year, had a great time, and looked forward to returning. The cabin is rustic, has all we needed, and views all around are amazing. The owners made the smaller kitchen very cute with their decor and provided all needed. The weather did not cooperate as much as we hoped but the activities the hosts offer made a wonderful difference (i.e., board games, movie options on large screen tv). It is easy to explore downtown……
