Fireplace, jacuzzi in the room, outside swing, beautiful and comfortable bed, wine and espresso. Gorgeous landscaping and beautiful grounds. The breakfasts each morning were delicious- we did both in room and in lodge and loved both experiences. “Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”

“This is a beautiful home with lovely gardens and rooms. We enjoyed our stay. It was an drive to the business district, breweries and down to the river. The Secret Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the attached bathroom had plenty of counter space. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The common room and porch are very pleasant, and the owners provided access to plenty of guide books for hikes, flower identification, kids activities, games, and lots of……

“We loved the isolation and to be able to disconnect from our busy lives. It was very quiet and peaceful. You don’t notice your neighbors and everyone is very respectful of each other. The views of Mt. Adams were awesome. We explored the area and did some hikes. We cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire every day and enjoyed s’mores every night. There are not a lot of dining options in the area but if you are there for isolation, peace and quiet, and time in nature then it is a great……
