“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. “We had a good time in the house. It is very spacious, confortable overall and the grounds are lovely. It was very suited to our group with people of all ages and the location is great to visit the Lakes.Only downfall : the house needs TLC especially in some of the bathrooms.We also encountered problems including wifi and hot water system.
