“We chose to stay in a more rural area to get away this year. It was definitely rural. There are just a few places by the house but we didn’t see anyone. There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed. ”

“Beautiful view, several open spaces for family time, large bedrooms, clean bathrooms, great water pressure and up to date appliances. Firepit with sidewalk entrance to home. Extra refrigerator/freezer in the attached garage. ”

“Very clean and a great location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to prepare meals. The furniture was comfortable and the tv looked brand new.”

“This house was amazing! The house was way bigger then we could of imagined. My whole family came and everyone had their own space. The bedrooms and closets are huge. The best part was the outside area. The host was gracious and quick to help with any issue. We will definitely be back. ”

“The space was very clean and inviting. We will stay here again if we are in the area. The rock path to get down to the basement area may be difficult for some people, but the host did say they are working on replacing that. We did meet the host as we were leaving and they were very kind and easy to hold a conversation with. When we arrived, the fireplace in the livingroom was going and there were lamps on throughout the space to make the home inviting and easy to navigate. This vrbo was……

“Our family stayed at this cabin for a week. It was secluded but pretty close to everything. The cabin had everything we needed and the fall colors were beautiful. The party barn was fun for everyone, but the kids especially loved playing Monopoly. We enjoyed visiting the state park and Marengo Caves! We will definitely come back and stay here next time we come down to southern Indiana.”
