We had such an amazing time here though that we skipped the skiing! My boyfriend built us a bonfire one night and we watched the Super Bowl the next night while listening to the waterfall. I’ve never been to North Carolina before but staying here definitely made it one of my favorite trips ever! ”

“This was base camp for our AT hiking adventure with Blue Ridge Hiking. My 84 year old mother stayed there while we did a 2 night hike. She was within walking distance to town if she needed anything. The beds were very comfortable. The living room could use a better set up. The couch could be bigger and the chair was not comfortable for an evening of TV. The table was great for games though. The hosts were so friendly. Parking was an issue. Only spot for one vehicle and it was tight. We……

“Wonderful house. Beautiful views. Excellent hosts. I traveled with family while I had business in town. Hosts thought of everything. Game systems for the teenagers. Pack n play for my baby. Accessible hosts by text/phone. Short drive to downtown Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely return. Be mindful if you travel with anyone with mobility concerns...parts of the driveway are steep due to the mountainous landscape. Overall a wonderful property. ”

“This house was amazing! Old school hospitality at its finest. If you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature and true time with your people this is it. The host was so nice and really connects with her guests. The only suggestion I would make is more window units since only two of the rooms have them but there were box fans provided for the other rooms. A personalized message for your group on the board in the dining room, a personalized dozen donuts waiting in the fridge, wood pre chopped for……
