“This is the lodge on the property of Tsavo West national park (safari). It is of the high quality accommodation with an opportunity to see the wild life and game directly from the room's balcony and the terrace of the restaurant. Two water holes attract various species such as zebras, giraffes, antilopes, elephants and water buffaloes. Having a breakfast with a view of the mountains and the flat bush country with the wild life/game in it is what we came to Kenya for. We were able to arrange game……

“Manyatta Camp is a unique experience to be as close to the animals and still feel safe. The staff here are wonderful, professional, caring, and very helpful. I stayed in a luxurious tent #5 and saw hundreds of buffalo pass by behind my tents. I witnessed elephants, giraffe, and zebras right walking to the "water hole". “I would highly recommend staying at Kipalo Hills: Breath taking views, faultless service, wonderful food, lovely pool. We had brilliant game drives with Simon and Joshua in Tsavo East and a night game drive in the conservancy where we saw a leopard! The only fault was there was no WiFi. For the whole 3 days - we asked everyday but head office had not paid the bill!! This caused my husband to worry as he hadn’t heard from me and it could have easily been rectified. There is nothing I can say negative about this experience. In the jungle living like a king. To those who expect National Geographic please set your sites lower. While you will see plenty of African animals the king of the jungle is elusive.”
