“The view was amazing. There was no access to the private beach as advertised due to significant damage to the stairs. The hammock had weeds growing through it and the patio furniture was pretty moss covered. We did enjoy both the outdoor and indoor fireplaces which was lovely, however we were concerned there was no smoke detectors or fire extinguisher incase of an accident. Overall it was a nice stay with outstanding sunset views. ”

“Charming well equipped comfortable cottage with a lovely yard along a creek. Lots of fun activities on site make this a wonderful place. Highly recommend for couples. We were grandson and grandfather and stayed a week.”

“The property was beautiful an secluded, but still very close to the park. We used it as a home base while we spent most of our days hiking. The views were incredible. We really liked that we could see Victoria BC in the distance. There was also lots of wildlife in the area. The only slight surprise is that another house is right next door and can bee seen from the kitchen windows. Not a big deal, just did not notice that from the listing photos. I highly recommend it and I will stay here again……

“The cottage was quiet, in the woods and as beautiful as the picture. The inside was decorated with style and attention to detail. The most impressive part was the beauty of the wood. If you like and appreciate craftsmanship and wood, this is the place for you! We hope to be able to stay there next year while we participate in the horseshoe tournament. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay, the hot plate was nice to have! Cute spot, we enjoyed the beach!”

“The cottages are right on Discovery Bay. We watched river otters playing, went kayaking, and saw incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, the bay, and the sunsets from both rooms, the porch, and the large patio, the kinds of views that you could look at for hours. The cottage has a cozy, traditional feel that we loved. It is old, well-maintained, and very clean, with all sorts of little touches and amenities that made us feel appreciated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Ed, the owner, is……

“We loved this quaint cabin. It was perfect for our family. The cabin is super secluded and very very peaceful. The beach was such a short, nice walk away and the area seemed very safe. The area was very quite, but the few local residents that we ran into were extremely kind and friendly.”
