“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there and we definitely be staying there again! Don't forget to bring smores to have on the open fire. ”

“What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. ”

“Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable.”

“Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.". ”

“Location is amazing, quiet and neat residential area with access to gorgeous beaches and nature walks. It was so lovely to have as a home base for exploring Olympic National Park (about 30 minute drive to closest entrance and a couple of hours to other entrances.) Small home, but well organized with all the things you need in a vacation home like stove, normal size fridge / freezer, shower / toilet. Washer / dryer a huge plus. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of clean linens and towels. Wi fi……
