“My husband and I came up with our 3 mo daughter for a last minute ski trip and had such a wonderful stay in this adorable tiny house. The house didn’t feel tiny at all and was very well decorated and laid out. It is walkable to town, but felt very private! Bonus, there is a fenced in back yard for your furry friends! Although we found the house to be a perfect fit, I will say the stairs up to the loft are very steep and narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend for an elderly couple or young toddlers, but……

“We come to deep creek every February and this is by far the best house we have ever rented. Cozy, clean and dog friendly. We loved it and will definitely be back again! Owners definitely take pride in their home and it shows. ”

“We had a great stay here over MLK Day weekend. The cabin was beautiful and the scenery was outstanding. While we were there, we got about a foot of snow. We sledded down the roads and enjoyed the hot tub. I do recommend having an AWD vehicle if you come in the winter.”

“I've stayed in Davis several times but this is going to be my new favorite spot! Easy walk on sidewalks to Purple Fiddle and the shops of Thomas. Found a great free community yoga class at Bright Bear yoga also walking distance. The sleeper sofa mattress wasn't the most comfortable so I ended up sleeping on the folded up couch while my dad took the loft bed. Plenty of space for a tiny home. ”

“This property was in a great location for exploring all the beautiful nearby nature - Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, and Canaan Valley were all very close by.”

“The unit was much more than we expected, even with the beautiful pictures of the online listing. Darlene was able to extend our stay an extra night due to the snow storm, giving me an extra day of skiing!”

The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.”
