“We had a wedding to attend in Pomerey and booked this just for one night. Due to having to be at the rehearsal and then the wedding, we unfortunately didn't get to spend much time at the home. What time we did spend there was great. The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The home was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room outside to walk around a bit if you want. Nice porch on the front with a swing. We will definitely stay again if in the area, and will recommend to anyone.……

“The cabin was nice. The stairs are steep like they say. If you have a dog they might have a hard time getting up and down. It was pretty at night to sit and look at the stars. Overall it was a good place of you want to be in the woods. ”

“We stayed in the cabin to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The location was very secluded and pretty. The cabin had plenty of room to house 10 adults. A couple of the beds were pretty uncomfortable but the others seemed like they were a better quality. It was ok for a couple nights but I wouldn’t want to sleep on them an entire week. I felt like it could’ve been cleaned a bit better. There was some hair left in the showers and sink and a huge spiderweb in the corner of the living room. Not……

“My husband and I are OU alumni. We came to Athens to visit my brother-in-law in his senior year. I always loved spending time at Strouds when I was in school and it was so fun to stay at this oasis right off the hiking trails. Wish we would’ve had more time to explore the outdoors, but we were mostly on campus, which was an easy and beautiful drive! We will definitely be back to this home next time we visit.
