“The staff are fantastic in the Montenotte. Couldn’t fault them. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The service was great. Loved the cinema, beautiful decor, gorgeous panorama bar and cocktail lounge. Will definitely be back again. ”

“We stayed here over night, and it had everythint you needed for that length of stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent. However, the room can get a bit warm at night. Overall, it was worth the amount asked for.”

“General speaking is good, the hotel is very near the castle. Also has discount to buy things in their big shop.”

“Hotel is set in stunning grounds … but you need to venture beyond the hotel to find them. Golf Clubhouse setting is stunning, lots of great forest paths for walking or running. Hotel itself is ok, very worn in places, bedrooms currently being refurbished. It’s a real flaff to use pool .. having to book in advance. Room toiletries poor … tho Voya toiletries in spa. Staff are very attentive and helpful .. . reception, concierge and waiting staff. Felt more like 4* property than 5* … but the……

“Grand Victorian style B&B, sit on sofa in a elegant living room while check in. Comfortable room like stay at home.”

“Sehr herziges Hotel in einem alten Haus, welches sehr stilvoll eingerichtet ist. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten und auch das Zimmer war sehr herzig mit Kaffee/Tee-Zubereitungsmöglichkeit. Das kontinentale, kalte Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig mit sogar frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Vor dem Hotel hat es Parkplätze und ins Dorf sind es 15 Minuten Fussmarsch. Eine vielseitige Restaurantauswahl hat es dort jedoch nicht. ”

“Good acommodation. Very clean, big bedroom, lots of space. If arriving by train, there is a very steep hill to get to it so not very accessible. Staff were friendly, facilities in room were low, minimal towels, basic toiletries, no black out blinds, one bottle of water each for the stay. We slept well most nights, acoutics is very poor so if did get the wrong crowd i could see problems. There was, what I assume, was a child in the room above us and in morning and evenings the ceiling nearly came……
