“This is a charming and well-appointed cottage in a beautiful setting. It felt open and very spacious for the two of us (& it could easily host 2 more people). The kitchen was well-equipped, and the rest of the place was thoughtfully planned out. We especially loved the screened-in porch, from which you could observe the natural beauty surrounding us, including the rolling hills beyond. There’s a wood stove and a large in-ground swimming pool & picnic table, which we did not use, but we can……

“Wonderful property! Check-in was effortless, and communication was excellent. The property had the southern charm my family and I desired, with ample space. The kids and our dog Rider had a ball. All the amenities you could think of, just in case you may have forgotten something. The quiet and serene nature of the property was beautiful, and I am so happy we chose to stay here. It is a historic house with nice modern updates and a country appeal. Thank you for making our weekend pleasant……

“Perfect for a quiet, weekend getaway. We went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and brought our dog, Ollie. Ollie's a very timid and nervous guy, but he felt very comfortable here. We went during the winter, but would be interested in returning in the summer because there seems to be a lot of outdoor activities (white water rafting, fishing, hiking). ”

“This house was a wonderful getaway for my family. The boys loved the swimming and fishing. The upper deck was a wonderful place to sit and relax. The house was very clean and ready to use. The street was very quiet and there were no jet skis or other loud boats out on the water. We brought our own kayaks and went around the lake numerous times. Overall, this house was perfect for our family (and pup as well). My boys want to us rent this house again next year!”

“The hosts are lovely. The lake is clean and inviting--perfect for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, etc.. Beautiful lawn with shade and sun to relax and enjoy the view. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. Elevation helps beat the heat of the valley, keeping temps comfortable with nice breeze off lake. Fun little towns to visit. Next door to state forest with trails. Easy drive to Nothhampton. Fresh farm stand around the corner. Cottages are simple, clean and well-stocked. As hosts indicate, there……
