“Communication with host was good and check in/out was easy. Cabin was an excellent jumping off point for seeing the Northern Lights, being north of Fairbanks with less light pollution and near Cleary Summit, but still close enough to town to go out to dinner. The Turtle Club is literally within walking distance and Fox General Store is right down the street for last minute supplies. Overall this is a good deal if you're looking for somewhere to sleep and a home base for exploring the……

“Very convenient location to Chena Lakes to view the Northern lights and do snow activities. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we need during our stay. The location was very quiet even though the unit is connected to the main house. The owner is very responsive. ”

“We had absolutely everything we needed and more. What a sweet, cozy little cabin, perfect for relaxing and recharging. A new favorite place to stay. ”

“When we booked this there were no pictures of the outside because it is pretty awful. It is definitely intentional. We weren't impressed when we pulled up. After going inside we discovered that it is a duplex. Not just one property to ourselves. It overwhelmingly it stank of stale cigarettes. It was as gross on the inside as it was on the outside. We put in our code and enter to find that there was a half-naked man smoking a cigarette in the living room. So that was great! We immediately left……

“We had an awesome stay at this cabin, it is on a beautiful property and is centrally located between Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs.We also had a great view at the Northern Lights! Would definitely recommend staying at this property!”

“Worked out perfectly ”

“We were thrilled with our stay at this beautiful manor. Plenty of space, centrally located, easy to communicate with the owner, and old-world charm. Two things for potential renters; one bedroom (over the garage) has access only thru the bathroom and another bedroom (it was fine for us but good for others to know) and the sidewalk leading to the house is extremely slippery so wear appropriate footwear. Enjoy!!”

“The house was beautiful and very clean. Our favorite was the hot tub in the back yard and fireplace in the living room. We couldn’t figure out the clothes dryer. Very nice place we would stay here again.”
