“Willowhaven is a fantastic cabin-in-the-woods getaway destination. The interior is a little dated, and the bedroom carpet is stained, but the house is clean. The bed was extremely comfy. There is a pull-through gravel driveway. Self-check-in was a breeze. Unfortunately, I had an interruption in plans and was only at the property for about 24 hours. I arrived late afternoon, showered, slept, left for the day, came back, packed, and left, therefore I have nothing more helpful to add to this……

“We would've given 5 stars and understanding that we're still in winter, but the garden looked way better in the pictures. That aside we had a wonderful time and loved the little town, a lot!”

“Quaint, quiet and peaceful stay”

“The Attic was very impressive. You are surrounded by trees and it almost feels like a comfy, cozy treehouse. Russ was a great host and solved a little check-in issue without any drama and we had an amazing time. The place is completely outfitted with everything you would need and has lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for us to get out and about in nature and we enjoyed hikes. redwoods and the Russian River. You ae also in the heart of one of the best wine areas……

“Our stay in this wonderful Monte Rio home cannot be overstated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable Thanksgiving week here. The home had everything we needed. The hot tub had a few easily solved quirks, but that was it! We stayed warm, ate well, and really enjoyed the area. We hiked along Jenner Headlands Preserve, wine tasting at Lambert Bridge Winery,awesome sandwiches at The Farmer’s Wife in Sebastopol, and attended an extraordinary concert at the Iccidental Center for the Arts. The Russian River……

“We enjoyed our stay because this was a convenient home base as we took day trips to the River, Armstrong Redwoods, and Jenner. The kitchen, bedrooms, and baths are well-equipped making it easy to relax after a day out and about. We also enjoyed eating on the patio. The home helped make for a wonderful trip!”

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The home has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with every detail thoughtfully considered. From the well-stocked kitchen, complete with cookware and spices, to the luxurious bathroom amenities like shampoo and conditioner, everything was taken care of. The fireplace made the chilly evenings feel extra cozy, and the spa was a fantastic bonus that added to the relaxation. The location is perfect and close to many cool shops, other cool little towns and zip lining!”

Cozy fireplace or electric heat for cool nights. Cool and shaded by towering redwoods on hot days. Safe large fenced in yard for my pup as well. Peaceful getaway. I’ll remember it fondly.”

“The bungalow in Sonoma was the perfect place to stay to celebrate or 20th anniversary. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Great view of the creek from the deck. Close to restaurants and wineries. The amenities in the house, particularly the Franklin, stove were perfect for a spring trip. ”

“We enjoyed the lovely location, comfortable living spaces and fun decor even though the weather wasn’t perfect. Great place to relax.”

“We were so charmed by this place, it is a sweet and quiet green house nestled into a few trees on a small hill. Perfect location, short drive to point Reyes station. The house had everything we needed and more, we cooked breakfast in the morning and found it so cozy, it was hard to leave! Will definitely stay again!”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
