“This was a rustic beach home, fine for an affordable stay on Tybee, but near enough to Savannah too. The weather was not very cooperative (September). Rain flooded driveway and only the basics in kitchen (no can opener!). But overall, a lovely place. Very clean and quiet.”

We were even able to visit with her and another neighbor. They showed real Southern charm and made us feel like we were in a cozy novel. “The Little Beach Cottage is charming. It had everything the two of us needed for a perfect week away. The location is very close to the beaches, it’s on the bike trail, and is very private. And the decor is adorable! Southern Belle was very responsive to any questions, as well. I recommend 100%.”

“We had a group of 9 ladies who all had a wonderful time. The house is a very good size and was clean. We used the pool a ton, but were also very close to the beach. It was a plus that the house provided beach towels, chairs, a small cooler, etc. for a beach day. Was also in walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Would definitely stay again! ”

“Our stay at the Blues Away cottage was fabulous! The whole house is light and airy, decorated in just the right amount of beach theme! The covered porch was very inviting, as was the backyard. If it had rained the entire vacation, we would have enjoyed just relaxing at the house! The outdoor shower came in handy, along with the spigot out front. Located 4 blocks from the beach, the 2nd street and 3rd street entrances were within walking distance. We drove to the south end of the island to eat a……

“We loved our stay here! The location was perfect! It is a quick walk to the beach and walkable to multiple restaurants and shops. We loved having the pool at the house (which doesn’t seem the norm on Tybee). Amy was very communicative and responsive. The house is older so it has its quirks (walk through 1-2 bedrooms to get to other rooms, window air units) but it had everything we needed. For a big group I would bring extra beach towels but they had floaties for the pool and a wagon to take……

“We had a wonderful time at Clamdigger. The house was just we needed. My husband and our 2 boys (9/12) stayed upstairs and our in-laws loved the apartment downstairs. We lived on the front porch from coffee to cocktails. We walked all through the neighborhoods and into town. The beach and river were close so no need to get in the car. The house vibe we perfect retro vacation vibes. Can’t wait to come back. ”
