“We enjoyed a long weekend in this HUGE house. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed the big porch and close beach access. The kitchen was great, but could use a few more basic items like a cutting board. Beds were comfortable. Be aware the shades in master bedroom are only semi-private. ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tybee Island. The Wicker cottage was as pictured. Enjoyed spending time in the house although it's an old enough home that I feel some updates beyond aesthetics may need to be done to meet the rental price, i.e., lighting, wiring, insulation. I would recommend the house but at a lower rental price.”

“Beautiful cottage that reminded us of days gone by! From the cozy screened in front porch complete with wooden rocking chairs, creaking floor, banging screen doors and crank door bell to the tastefully decorated interior which mixed the quaintness of old charm with updates of present time, we were very pleased. Located just off the busy main street of the island, but quiet enough. Easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants and the small motel pool across the street for our use (bonus!). The……

“Small but worked for us ! Everything we needed at our fingertips......absolutely loved the play list on the Ipad , being able to grill our fresh fish purchase, a nightly dip in the wonderful hot tub, close to beach, shops, and restaurants. Could'nt ask for anything else ! It was the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time ! The host were very helpful with any questions we had during our stay, and also suggested a restaurant in walking distance for us to try......and it was outstanding……

“Our first six days were very challenging. When we arrived we couldn’t get into the house, they changed the lock and didn’t tell us. We found that the internet was not working and it took six days to get it working and we needed it for work. The 2nd day we went to the store and came home and they had shut the water off. Took a day to get that straightened out. Then we found another leak and reported it but they never came back to take care of it. We were woken up every morning at 7 am from……

It's close to the beach and shops in south Tybee in a sweet, quiet beach neighborhood. Communication with Donna was excellent - she was helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend! ”
