“We stayed overnight and were blown away by how beautiful, private, and comfortable everything was. We did not want to leave. The shower and bathroom were clean and nice. I loved using the outdoor shower, and bathtub under the stars. Hearing the creek at night, with such a comfortable bed, I think I had the best night of sleep I had in a very long time. We held baby chickens, pet goats, alpaca, and an adorable mini horse. I already want to go back. ”

“Our stay in government camp was great at this cabin! Very close to mount hood hikes and activities as well as only an hourish drive from portland! Blane was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was well kept and perfect for the 2 of us staying. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Also, the surrounding town is very cute with several options of places to eat and a general store that had everything you could need!”

“We had a great time staying in this historic cabin. Check-in instructions were very clear and we had no problems. We did contact Brad about arrival time and he was very responsive. As advertised, the cabin is rustic. But the shower had lots of pressure and hot water! There were plenty of electric outlets. We loved that it was just a short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the ZigZag River to Fernies Coffee. Days were spent at The Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood, Government Camp (Huckleberry Shakes……

“We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.”

“We stayed here 2 years ago. Love that it use to be a restaurant. Location location location. Great spot. It is definitely rustic but works well for our family obviously since it was our 2nd time staying here. No bells and whistles but functional. Walk to restaurants and short drive to the mountain or a shuttle up the street. ”

“Large cabin, well maintained. Lovely to hear the rushing of the creek behind the cabin while falling asleep!”

“We loved the cabin. It was clean and had a good layout for multiple families. The beds were comfortable. The road and driveway were plowed but it snowed a lot during our stay so we were grateful we had 4 wheel drive. We only wish it was on the other side of Hwy 26 so we could walk into government camp.”

“Had a great week long stay with our two children for a week of skiing. Plenty of (clean) space for all of your gear and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Loved the location in Govy and the clear view of Mt. Hood just steps out your door. Cozy wood stove and leather furniture. Cabin was charming and we would definitely stay again!”
