“Wonderful stay with access to snow outside the door. Paths to walk on and sledding near by. Home was comfortable. Extra blankets were needed in the night for the kids. Heaters worked but gave off a symphony of knocks and bangs. Kitchen had everything needed for home cooked meals. ”

Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.”

It was also really nice to be able to wake up and walk to coffee and breakfast just down the hill. Our TV, was not working, but the owner was quick to respond and refund a portion when the issue couldn't be resolved. We would have loved to use the fire pit, but it was raining when we were there. Next time! ”

“It was a really cozy cabin and we had a great stay. Beds were comfy and the location was great. We've rented a lot of places, and this had the best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced. ”

The road and driveway were plowed but it snowed a lot during our stay so we were grateful we had 4 wheel drive. We only wish it was on the other side of Hwy 26 so we could walk into government camp.”

“The house was perfect for our multi-generational family stay on Mt. Hood! Grandparents took the room by the kitchen, parents and kids were upstairs, the kids in the bunks. The house stayed plenty warm enough with or even without using the wood stove. Ample hooks for drying wet winter gear were appreciated and so were the heated floors - so helpful for drying our boots!”
