“This home is right on the main street of Parkdale, OR, and is just a few minutes off the highway that takes you from Hood River up to Mount Hood. There is a hot tub on the property (in the backyard, with a great view of Mount Hood!) but the cover to the hot tub is broken and difficult to maneuver if you are by yourself. I contacted the property manager a few times about it but no one came to fix the issue during my stay. I did not cook at the house, so I cannot say much about the kitchen, but……

“My family and I stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Close to Mt Hood Meadows, night sledding and lovely walks in the woods. A couple of maintenance issues which I’m sure will be resolved for next guest.”

“Nice house, plenty of space but a whole lot more sleeping space than living space. Super clean but more geared to a group looking for a place to crash while skiing on the mountain.”

“Came up for my daughter's ski races and enjoyed a lovely stay at the Grand Lodge Collins Lake Resort. The unit we rented was on the first floor with a view of the lake behind it! Unit was perfect for our needs. Great location and perfect place to stay.”

“12 family members stayed here for a wedding near Hood River. Plenty of beds & bathrooms to accommodate our group. House s a little outdated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the ping pong & pool table in the garage. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub or the beautiful back yard, which would make for an incredible game of Bocce. View is absolutely stunning!”

“Incredible location. Description does not give it enough justice. Home is older (this did not bother our group — we were there to hike and bike. The view from the deck is amazing. Decoration is very ecletic, this also was fine with our group. Kitchen very well stocked. Only issue we had was a dirty air fryer — I do not see this as the facult of property owner — a guest probably pused and placed back in cupboard. (Not cool). ”

“I liked the cabin charm of this house it it’s right in the middle of government camp. You can drive right up to the door to drop off/pick up which is very convenient. It was also easy to keep warm and the wood stove was a nice amenity. We enjoyed the charm of this place. The cabin is very small which is cozy, but hard to imagine more than 4 people using the living area—even that was a tight squeeze — so unclear how the occupancy of 6 makes sense. There was a key to a “wood box” that we were not……
