“The property is surrounded by trees and feels like a getaway even though it is a very short distance to the town square. The pool is shady and has built in seating all around the inside of the pool for lounging. The pool side bar is convenient and fun. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and are always clean. Love that they brew fresh coffee and provide hot water and tea in a lounge area as well as an option for a full bar and dining. You can stay in and relay or go out on the town with……

“Melrose River Club is such a fun and relaxing spot right on the San Marcos River. The river is just steps away, so it’s super easy to float, swim, or just sit by the water. The pool area is a highlight. Big, lively, and perfect for hanging out with friends, plus there’s a bar right there. We stayed in one of the container casitas and loved it. It was cute, clean, and cozy, with a cool outdoor shower that made it feel like a little glamping adventure. We will definitely book again. ”

“Very private location and covered parking. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. No issues with check in or out, and good communication from the host. NOTE: this house did not have a television, which we didn’t realize until we got there. There is good WiFi so we were able to use our phones for entertainment, but no TV is really the only drawback. Would book again. ”
