“Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. “We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing.
