“I have not left a review for anything in a long time, but AM Lodge absolutley deserves a great review. I read a couple of previous reviews that made me hesitant, but the record needs to be set straight. I stayed Mar 14 - March 16 of 2025 and it could not have been a better experience. “The hotel is quiet and nice.The waitesses are nice and friendly. Branda is helpful.Our ranger Clifton has sense of humor.The kids like them.Nevermind is patient and helpful too.Clifton and Nevermind tried their best to let us to see animals as many as they can. “Vorweg muss man sagen: Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter. 20 Grad, Sturm und etwas Regen erwartet man einfach im Sommer nicht. Auf den Games Drives haben wir z.T. gefroren… Aber wir haben Löwen mit Jungen gesehenen, was absolut toll war, und ein Black Rhino, was wirklich sehr selten ist. Aber ansonsten muss ich sagen, dass wir doch von Timbavati Gebiet etwas enttäuscht waren. “Such a magical experience. The staff was incredible and really was the reason this was a memorable trip. Hayden was an incredible guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and outgoing nature made each day more enjoyable. We saw all big 5 including seeing all 5 during one day. We were very lucky to experience a lion pride kill as well. “We stayed at Simbavati Camp George. The staff at the lodge were fantastic. The guide Alex was very knowledge and entertaining. He made efforts to teach us about wildlife and birds. The food was delicious and the menu was different every night. Simbavati lives up to their reputation. We will be back, They gave us a simbavati water bottle as a souvenir. ”

“Lovely room, breakfast & dinner were included. Safaris were additional. They had a great spa. Gift shop, coffee shop, a couple bars & pools. We would recommend it for anyone. ”
