“Our stay from July 6-11 while our son was playing baseball at Cooperstown All Star Village was perfect. The location is somewhat in the middle between Cooperstown and Oneonta, which works well if you’re going to both cities. It was a scenic 18-minute drive from the Lakeside cottage to the All Star fields by Oneonta (I think it’s even closer to the other baseball complex by Cooperstown).The rustic cottage was perfect for our needs and was comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing. The drive back and forth to field wasn’t bad at all!! It was nice coming back in the evenings and feeling like you’re at home. House stocked nicely and host were awesome!! “We weren't expecting a lot when we made this reservation, but we were pleasantly surprised about how comfortable and convenient it was. The cabin is off a road but once you drive up to it, you feel nature and our dog loved running in the woods behind the house. The cabin has all the amenities you need, although wifi is spotty. Even a pot belly stove! Bedrooms were clean and cozy and there are plenty of blankets if there is a chill. Devon was very responsive to all my questions and always……

“An easy commute (use the freeway) to the All Star Village fields!!!Decent fishing off the dock- we caught some small mouth bass and blue gill. Use orange swimbaits, small spoons, and flies.”
