“Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by ”

The home is very well-appointed especially in the kitchen, which I appreciated since we most often cook while on vacation. Sharp knives, plenty of cutlery and dishes. The light switches were labeled, which was useful. Sheets and towels very good quality, always nice. Many afternoons spent on the porch swing overlooking the lake were very restful. “We got an upgrade because the room we had reserved was not ready. The upgraded room had 3 beds and 2 baths. The bathroom was huge and the furniture was beautiful. The view of the lake and volcano was gorgeous. The wrap around terrace was stunning. This was 10x better than the one bedroom, one bath we had. ”

We did the tubing excursion and had so much fun. It’s not for the faint of heart. Perfect for our fam! Recommend going on the hike into park to see that beautiful Celeste River and waterfall. ”
